A Little More About Me
“I was born and raised in Venice, California, the youngest of four children. I’ve now been married for over 30 years, and we have four adult children and two grandchildren. We moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2018 and I love it here.
My first experience with counseling was as a client to work through relationship issues and childhood trauma. I know what it’s like to sit on a counselor’s couch and experience vulnerability, healing, and growth. I am passionate about returning the favor and helping others.
In addition to private counseling practice, I’m an adjunct professor at Clark College and a doctoral candidate for a degree in Clinical Psychology.
In my spare time, I enjoy date nights and family nights, taking walks in nature, traveling adventures, and my flower garden.” - Valinda Harlan (she/her)
